Pinterest: We all know it and love it so well.
And while Pinterest can give us a seemingly unlimited amount of ideas, it can give us an idealized vision of what you want to look like on your wedding dress.
Pinterest is a great place to start building your wedding dress dreams. But be careful to not overdo it!
Overdoing it might mean building up this idea in your head of what you’re going to look like in a dress only to be disappointed when you actually start trying on the dresses. Not to mention that most dresses you see on Pinterest are grossly overpriced and wouldn’t fit within budget.
Your best option? Digging deep into what each boutique carries.
Do your research before you head into your dress appointment. This will give you an exact idea of what dresses you’re going to try on and it gives the stylist a fantastic place to start once she begins pulling you dresses.
Come in with a budget in mind! At Birdie, we want to keep you within your means. We won’t push a dress that doesn’t fit within your budget. We will always ask ,”This dress might put you a little bit over your budget, is this something you’re ok with?” The bride comes first, not the sale!
Every appointment is unique! But if you go into the appointment with an idea of what we carry and what you’re looking for and what your budget is going to be, we’re in for a lot smoother ride.
